Inexpensive screens.. (1 Viewer)

I've got a couple of friends about to get into FP HTs and have asked for quotes on how much for most of the gear. I've been looking around the net and have recently found some inexpensive screens like the following:

There r a whole lot more on ebay. Now, for myself, I have a DIY black out cloth screen which I like a lot. These guys would like everything turnkey so to speak so DIY is not an option but they would like to stay under $300 for the screen.
If anyone has any insight/input on these or have other suggestions, please feel free to chime in.

Link 1 is OK IF your friends are getting DLP projectors but if they are getting LCD projectors then they want a grey screen not white matte like the first two links.

The second link is for a 4x3 format screen which is a NO-NO these days. 4x3 is old school, 16x9 is the now and future! Also it is a "pull down" screen which is not going to be nearly as quality of picture as a "fixed frame" screen.

The third link I would stay clear of since it gives no brand name and eBay is notorious for bad no name stuff.

Good point on the type of pjs to be of use. I'll keep that in mind.

I was just curious why the first screen wouldn't be good to use for an LCD projector. Is a matte white different then say a brilliant white that Carada would sell?
