ILO DVDR05 - Help with blank disc recommendations (1 Viewer)

About 2 weeks ago I bought the ILO DVDR05 recorder.

I also bought a 50 pack of Sony DVD+R discs.
I've used about 25 and had about 5 not work. 1 wouldn't even be formatted and the other 4 wouldn't finalize.

About a week ago I bought a 25 pack of Philips DVD+R's and when I tried to use them for the first time 3 right away wouldn't be formatted, it would freeze up at 99%.

Wal-Mart has a 50 pack of Maxell disc for about $26.00 and was wondering if anybody had good luck with these discs on this unit.

I don't want to go through the hassle of returning them if they don't work on the Ilo.

What are confirmed brands that work well with the 05?

I've had decent results with Fuji DVD-R and DVD-RW discs.
