Hughes Rec. DTV, guide ? (1 Viewer)

With my Hughes receivers at home whenever I want to look at the guide I get a delay and a message that says "failed to aquire guide" but then it displays it anyway. Is this a common problem? Is it a setup problem? It does this on both receivers so I figured it was something from the satellite signal.

I believe it's due to the spot beams they are using for the local channels now. You should only see that when you switch from the "main" channels to the local channels in your guide. Check channel 201 for more info.

I get it all the time no matter what channels I am looking at.

I get the same thing with my Hughes receivers.

Still seems to work but it is pretty annoying, huh?!
