Hey,
One of my systems is waiting for it's new center speaker to be done being built..
So here's my question,
The mains are home-built with a 6 INCH MID RANGE, 6 INCH DOME TWEETER, AND 12 INCH WOOFER.
What type of speakers should I use with the center channel to get it properly matched?
I'm planning on using simple 6 inch mid ranges with a tweeter, but I can always buy different speakers..
So, tell me what you guys think I shoud do..

It's not matching the size of the speaker that determines timbre matching.....mostly it's having the same tweeter in the center and the mains.
Similer midrange speakers are important too, but the tweeter is the catch.
If your mains are homemade, you're going to be best off building yourself a center (or having one made) using the same parts as the mains.

Same mids, tweeter AND x-over as the mains and you should be fine. X-over is just as important as the speakers, as you want them to be the same slopes & frequencies.
