How good are the AudioQuest YIQG 2m Component Video Cables Onecall is giving away with their HDTVs? Trying to figure out if I should plan to use them or perhaps haggle the price by rejecting them...

I suspect with a "freebie' you have no wiggle room at all.

Take them with the offer is my advise. If you feel you need to upgrade (once your wallet is replenished, that is) down the road, then you will have more than wiggle room.

These kind of offers are always... "take it or leave it, and by the way here is your TV".
The cable, BTW, looks, and reads, like it might be a step up from usual OEM junko.... ymmv. It is AQ's entry level stuff... but as long is there is no upcharge (nothing is free, ayk), then go with the deal. You should be haggling on the Tv's price, btw !!!

Ok, thanks for the info. That's about what I figured. I was planning on getting some cables from ebay (quality ones that is) eventually anyway. I'm going to give Jason at onecall a ring in a few days to see what he can do. I'm gonna try to get the 57H82 for under $2k if possible...and perhaps try to see how close I can get the HDX to that (up against the wife factor here
