how do u make a copy of a hdcd?

    my friend has a hdcd bought from hong kong. Is there any way to burn a copy of that cd in hdcd format?

    Same as any other, you don't have to do anything different since they're stored in redbook format just like any other CD. In fact, you can rip them to your hard drive in WAV or a losslessly-compressed format, and the HDCD format will be intact. (Of course then you need a software player that supports HDCD or a digital output to a receiver or pre/pro that does).

    fyi: M$ WMP 8+ (on XP) supports HDCD. The HDCD format is owned by Microsoft.
