The reason I ask is that I currenly use my computer to play my movies (my DVD player is in the shop :-( ), and whenever I play a 16x9 enhanced movie, the app I use immediately opens up as a 16x9 window on my screen. But with MP&THG:SE, the window pops up as full-frame! The box says "high definition widescreen transfer with pink frilly edges," but the bottom where the specs are listed merely states the presentation is widescreen without mention of anamorphism or enhancement for 16x9 TVs.
Either way, this is one of the coolest discs I've picked up in recent memory. But can anyone confirm or refute this report?

The DVD is indeed anamorphic, but sadly there are no pink frilly edges.
