Hi. Hopefully someone can help me help a friend.

He moved an old DVD player to his bed room and has it connected to an old TV that only has the coaxial cable input. He has it running through a VCR in order to connect it, but this of course activates the macrovision.

I know they make an adapter for the RCA cable to coaxial (and I told him I'd figure out what he needs to get), but I'm having trouble finding it. I did a search on Radio Shack's website and had no luck so far.

Anyone here know Radio Shack's part number for this adapter?

I was just in Radio Shack today and saw exactly what you are looking for. They had about 100 boxes of these DVD adapters on the shelf. Didn't see the price, however it looked pretty cool. It had a coaxial, s-video and composite connections.

Good luck!

It's called an "RF Modulator". Best Buy/Target/Kmart has small ones for $19, ordinary ones for about $27. The Radio Shack unit is currently selling for $29. Radio Shack part 15-1244
