HELP! Just got my new Crest LT1000 hooked up & no sound from subwoofer (1 Viewer)

I'm using an Acurus ACT 3 pre/pro (output impedance of 100 ohms), and the LT1000 has an input impedance of 10kOhms. It is replacing a parasound 1201A monoblock that had an input impedance of 33kOhms, which worked perfectly fine with the ACT 3. What is going on? Any help greatly appreciated. . .

Aha, I think I found the problem - I got a stereo RCA to 1/4" adapter, and the Crest requires a mono 1/4" input. Taking a trip to RatShack tomorrow & will post if this was indeed the problem.
