Which brand & model would you buy if you wanted the biggest & the best plasma tv available? He's not interested in RPTV or Projection tv's. Please list brand & model number. THANKS

The best turnkey solution is probably the Runco PlasmaWall PL-61c:

This being said, you can get near the performance for a LOT less with some of the otehr 61" screens, like the Fujitsu (nice scaler). Anyhow, here's a list:

My first choice would be the Runco hands down. But damn it's pricy. My second choice the Marantz. I sell Marantz plasmas and have been very impressed.

BOTTOM LINE FUJITSU .... THEY MAKE PANELS FOR MOST MANUFACTURERS OUT THERE AND SELL 3 OF THE ABOVE MENTIONED BEST BLACKS OUT OF ALL IN THE FUJITSU.

How about the Pioneer Elite plasma? Is that any good?

NEC makes the Plasma for Runco.

NEC retails for 19 grand but can be had for a lot less.

Pioneer Elite makes a 50"
