Has "Mark Forum Read" become automatic? (1 Viewer)

Normally, I have to either read a topic or use the "Mark Forum Read" feature in order for the topics within a forum to not show any new messages. Right now, however, EVERY forum I visit—including ones I haven't visited for days and contain new messages—are marked as read. No topic seems to have new messages as far as the forum software is concerned.

Is this a change? Just does visiting the forum (no matter how briefly) start an automatic process to mark EVERY topic as read?

I ask because some forums still work that way (such as Blu-ray.com).

We had a problem where the icons indicating the forum status disappeared for a while today, but we have fixed that. Can you let me know if you are still seeing the problem?
