I like the fact that the opening credits were altered. It made it seem like something new. Gilmore Girls: Beginnings really reminded me of how much I love this show, and I can't wait to see what happens with season 3.

I started watching the show near the end of the first season, and I'm glad I saw this episode because of the background provided for so many things, like why Lorelai and Rory have weekly dinner with Lorelai's parents.

I thought Rory looked a lot more attractive and older for some reason.

Is it just me, or was Suki a totally different character for the Pilot? I don't recall her ever being so danger prone in other episodes.

I assume it's something that was dropped later on. She's more quirky than accident prone now.

Is the first episode the one with Rory's birthday party? And if it is, what was the reason for them going to Emily's every Friday? I don't remember that.
