Gargoyles DVD

Hey gang -- Good news and bad news time

I was contacted by John Hanna at Buena Vista Home Video (or whatever
the division is called now).

The Gargoyles DVD is definitely ON. As some of you know, I had been
concerned since I hadn't heard from John in a long time.

The "bad news" is that it has been moved back to 2004 release to
coincide with the TENTH ANNIVERSARY of the series.

As bad news goes, that's sorta cool.
For those that don't know, Greg Weisman was one of the creators and producers of the show. :)

They are at least doing sets of substantial size, yes? This is not a show that would work or 4-ep singles.

I know Gargoyles has a bigger cult following than most of the shows from its era, but since BVHE is releasing this, what would be the chances of other Disney Afternoon programs?

SO any new news about this? If it's really coming this year for its tenth anniversary, we should be getting an announcement any day now.

I wouldn't mind having TailSpin or even Darkwing Duck if the option was there. As is, I'll definitely pick up Gargoyles.

Has there been anything on if Season One is selling well and does anyone have any idea when the second season should be coming?

Season Two of this show is a very good sign, both for its fans (obviously) and for the chances of other Disney TV cartoons seeing their long-overdue release. Keem them coming!

I can't wait for season 2. I was pretty enthused to finally have the season 1 set. Is there any information as to how they're breaking these up though? If it's all of season 2, then that would have make it a bigger set than season 1.
