Gamecube OEM controller cord length (1 Viewer)

Is the standard GC controller cord long enough for most when playing on a big screen or should I just buy extensions? I have not opened my GC as it is wrapped for the kids X-mas present. I would like 10' like the X-box's.

The GameCube controller cable is six feet in length. Target sells a nice 8-foot metal-braided (looks similar to Xbox cable) extension cable for $5.99 ea. That'll give you fouteen feet which should work for most situations.

No matter what system I buy I always buy the controller extensions. The XBox controllers would be too short as well. The extensions are great becuase I end up with more than enough room.
