I have for sale one Phillips DVDR985 DVD Recorder/Player. I am the original owner of this unit. It is in excellent physical, mechanical and electrical condition. I hadn't used it in nearly a year so, as a test, I recorded about a dozen discs with this machine, all without problems. I believe this is one of the later produced models; manufacture date is March, 2003 in Hungary. Model # on the box is DVDR985A41.
This machine records DVD+R and DVD+RW discs and plays back most other types of discs including DVD-R and DVD-RW but excluding DVD-RAM and DVD-Audio. It will play back the CD layer only on SACD discs.
Included are the original box and packing, manual and remote, plus three 25-disc stacks (75 discs total) of Fujifilm DVD+R discs, nine Verbatim DVD+R and eight Verbatim DVD+RW discs in jewel cases.
I am asking $210 plus actual shipping. Shipping should be around $20 to most parts of the lower 48 states, but will probably be higher to Hawaii and Alaska.
I prefer PAYPAL, but will accept a money order (USPS or Western Union), or cash (at your risk).
