It might help if you stated specifically which model WEGA this 36-inch unit is (is it an FV? an FS? an HS? an HV? an XBR? what year?). Given how inexpensive newer, HD-capable WEGAs are becoming, a used unit becomes a harder sell (especially with the HTF crowd).
