For Sale: Pioneer Elite Pro-99 51" RPTV. Purchased in November 1997 from
Harvey Electronics in Paramus, NJ ($4,000 plus). Five year extended warranty
is in effect until November 2002. This set has been the centerpiece of our
Home Theater for the last 4 1/2 years and has served us well. It has
received nothing but TLC from the first day and will continue to provide
endless hours of enjoyment to anyone who buys it. We live in the NY Metro
area (Queens) and will be happy to sell it to anybody willing to come and
view the set for themselves, demo it, and take it home with them. Ideally
somebody from the NY Metro Area (5 Boros, Long Island, NJ, or Connecticut)
is the perfect candidate, but if you are willing to make the drive, please
do not hesitate to inquire.
The set is perfect condition. The black piano finish is stunning and still
looks like new. We are selling the set because we are redecorating the
living room and buying a plasma display and really do not have room anywhere
else in the house for the set. If you have always wanted a high quality
display but held off because of the price or the ever changing market, why
not bridge the gap with this affordable find.
Asking $975.00
For questions or interest, please feel free to send e-mail to
[email protected]. After the initial e-mail I will be happy talk on the
phone, answer any questions I can, and set up a demo. Some specs are listed
below. Original manual, remote control, copy of the original purchase
paperwork, and the balance of the extended warranty are included and will be
provided upon pick-up.
Thanks,
Phil

Based upon some of the inquiries I have received, I need to make some clarifications and a minor correction. The TV was purchased in December, 1997 not November; therefore, the warranty is in effect until December 6, 2002.
This set is pre HD and does not have component inputs. Dispaly options are via S-Video, Composite, or RF. There are multiple inputs of each, two antenna inputs, PIP, two (2) different memory settings for pciture controls for use on multiple inputs, Center and outer point convergence adjustments, plus much more. Pioneer Elite TV's were and continue to remain at the top of the list as far Picture and Build Quality. This set provides the best possible NTSC (regular TV reception via antenna, cable, or satellite) picture and cinema like DVD performance. I am sure that there will be no comparison when it comes to standard viewing compared to any current low to mid end HDTV you can find. You really have to see the picture and experience it for yourself.
I am hoping that there is somebody who wants a quality large screen TV and is just not happy plunking down $2-3K for a HDTV that is going to be used to watch standard TV and DVD's. Somebody who is not ready to make the committment to HDTV until all this copyright protection digital input mess is settled, but wants the best quality picture they can get. This set accomplishes this without breaking the bank and will bridge that gap until such time you are ready to make that substantial purchase and go the full HDTV route.
Again, any questions, please e-mail me at [email protected]. Unsure? live in the area? Come see for yourself. You will not be disappointed.
Thanks,
Phil

I'm interested, but you're too far away
As Matt Stone would say - "Why don't you live in my apartment complex"!!

Thanks Chris!
Damn travel distance...:) It's always something. Thanks for at least letting me know.
There is also a beautiful Oak Home Theater Wall unit with two towers and a bridge that is available if and when somebody comes to look at the TV. The whole package can be had very reasonably. All I need is somebody who wants a really great TV and a great deal. I promise, you will not be disappointed.
Thanks again.
