Nice review. Doesn't sound like something i need to pick up right away. I've watched it on tcm in the past and don't remember much about the film. If it drops dramatically in price i might bite.

You got your review disc early! I’m looking forward to this disc since it includes three shorts along with the film.
I also respect WAC releasing this. I’m glad they’re not bound to just releasing films starting certain actors or films of a certain genre. It’s nice that even lesser known films are getting remastered and having their time in the sun.

Just received a copy, and look forward to viewing.

I met Miss Bankhead when I was probably about 11. She was sitting with a slightly rowdy group in a hotel lobby in Miami. Chatted for a few minutes. She was shocked that a kid might know who she was, and one of her friends asked.

I had seen Lifeboat. My recall at this point is her southern accent, and being the most animated in the group. She was quite nice to a little twerp.
