Saw a flyer for a band called the "Ping Pong Ball Bitches" playing next saturday in a club on Haight Street.

That's all I know about them....but I'm a-going.

Anyone else swayed by a name?

Quivering Phlegm
Retaliation - Not too bad for friend's local thrash band back in High School.

I used to be in a band called The Dead Fish Heads. Our motto was "we stink." Turnout was always pretty good. People were curious I guess.

Thanks Ike!

Pretty weird combo, punk disco. Can't wait!

One of my favorite songs is Course of Empire's Infested which fuses Tommy Dorsey Big Band Swing with Heavy Metal.

Grant, my favourite band name of all time is: MR. ED JUMPS THE GUN. I'd go see them but if they're stille together they don't leave the friendly confines of Europe. I have their first album. Best wishes!

sounds like a good reason to fly to Europe.

Rachael's Laserdisc tour 2002!

A couple of other good ones:

The Raving Nixons

Hello Kitty on Ice

Nazi Teenage Love Slaves

Well, I haven't actually seen them live (only have CDs), but there is a good German band singing in English, whose name is Fury in the Slaughterhouse.
Reading about "Mr Ed Jumps the Gun" made me think of horses, I guess :).
