In getting ready to shop for a new 32-inch TV, I've been scanning some recent threads, and I've seen several people say "If you can wait a couple of months, the prices drop at the end of the model year."

Can anyone tell me roughly when that occurs? January? February? Spring?

I don't know exactly when the model year ends for tv's but the best times I have found is in the summer months with 4th of July sales & etc because they usually have the same prices as a "Close Out Price" would be. If your looking for a very good to excellent analog 32 inch set I've seen the 32" Flat Tube JVC upscale model AV-32FA44 on sale for as low as $488.88 & even at "Close Out Time" I don't think the prices on a Flat Tube 32" set are going to be much better than that. Just my 2 cents ;)
