I'm planning on waiting to buy a Gamecube until then. Last year all the systems lowered their prices at EEE(E3) time and expectations are high they may do so again. Of course, many people have taken advantage of the free game and bundle offers from Nintendo. I often buy used games so a price drop would be better for me. Anyone else waiting as well?

Yeah, that's what I'm waiting for. It's got nothing to do with making sure the taxes are in order or getting a better job or finally not really having much more I want to play on the Dreamcast and Nuon. :D

LOL @ Jason.

I'm waiting to see if Microsoft releases that rumored Xbox Lite.

Rumor in the financial industry is that the XBox will drop to $179, possibly $149 by year end. Sony might or might not follow. Of course, these same reports thought this would happen months ago, so take it with a grain of salt.

Heres what to do:

Buy a GC 30 or so days before the supposed price drop, and get a free game with it. Then, as soon as the price drops to $99, go back to whereever you bought it from and have them pay you the difference.

So you will end up with a GC and a free game for $99.

I'm waiting for a price drop on the PS2 to buy a second one, though I'm rather eager to get another one as I recently put mine in my son's room.
