DVD menu settings on Pioneer 563 (1 Viewer)

Hello to all,

I just got this player and wondered if I should change the bright,chroma, and contrast settings on this player or leave them alone, just using my TV's settings.

I have the Panasonic 47WX53. Should I use 480p or 480i setting?

If any one else has these 2 units I would like to hear what your setting are so I can calibrate it.

I do not have a set up disc. Is the one at Best Buy any good? $40.00

Beau, I usually ignore the picture controls on the DVD player — except in extreme circumstances (very badly authored DVDs). As for the output, use progressive scanning. And use the connection on back of the RPTV designated "480p."
