Just though I'd let everyone know that Circuit City (of all places!) has the Hughes DirecTV HIRD-45 Dolby Digital equipped reciever and a dual LNB dish for $50. Quite a nicely featured little receiver, 2 sets of composite outs, S-Video out, Coaxial and Optical out and a really cool remote extender which transmits the remotes signal from up to 150' away.
I picked this up to watch Band Of Brothers in 5.1.
Pretty good deal if you ask me. It's good for new or current subscribers.

I'm not surprised. They're closing out the old models. The only thing it doesn't do is HD, but they are great units. If anyone has anything less and a spare 50, it's a good pick up.

Actually, it's not a closeout. It's supposed to be one of the new E series(according to all the info I've found on it). They had the regular $50 box right next to it(the one I'm replacing).
I looked it up and have seen it for $219 online(w/an install kit though).
