Does anyone make 6.1 speaker Packages? (1 Viewer)

Does any company make 6.1 packages? I need to buy a package for about 400 dollars but there doesn't seem to be any options except to buy the sony package because they sell another speaker you can add to the package to make it 6.1 but i really don't want to buy sony speakers.

I would rather buy some jbl sats but you can't add another speaker that is the same from what see.

Something else i was considering was to buy some nice (for my price range atleast) floor-standing speakers and then adding stuff as i come up with the money. Would that work ok if i used my old sony satellite speakers as the surround and center if i used to a sound meter to set everything up?

You would have to go a little over budget to get a sub but by how much depends on how much sub you want. My parents have the popular 12 inch model so maybe this one isn't bad either:

I would recommend a DIY sub if you can do that.
Either way, its a start. My parents use the N24 II in their bedroom and I think they are really a bargain at 110 a piece.

The easiest thing to do would be get the NSP1 package and either add another N Center or replace the mains (N28s or N38s) and use all 4 N24s in the back in a 7.1 setup.
You could get an NSP1 package, add another N Center, and get a DLS 10" sub from parts express for VERY close to $400.

www.bicamerica.com. These bics are pretty good for a budget speaker. They sell two different packages with 6 speakers plus a subwoofer. I think you can get them off the net for a pretty good price.
