Does andyone own the AVR-1804 by Denon (1 Viewer)

I have been looking for reviews and opinions online and in this forum and I can not find one for 1804.

I am looking for a not so expensive receiver and I think this is a good for for me. Anyone have any opinions.

Shervin, when you have a question about a specific model of receiver it's best to post in the area devoted to such matters. The new 1804 has already been discussed, so run a search in this section. I have last year's 1803 in my bedroom system, and it's a wonderful unit.

oh, i thought this counted as basic, i thought that was for the more detailed questions.

No problem, Shervin. A "Basics" question would be more along the lines of "What's the difference between a receiver and a pre-pro?" That sort of thing. Again, consider the 1804 "recommended." Others, however, will have their own preferences at that price point.
