Dell 8100 owners -- are you sing your PCMCIA slots? (1 Viewer)

(sorry, title should read "are you USING your PCMCIA slots?")

I'm not, and the blank plastic cards Dell supplies to fill the void are always falling out. I don't like leaving a gaping hole there, though. (Why couldn't Dell have kept the spring-loaded doors?)

Do you guys just leave the open slots or do you have an alternative "dummy" card that stays in better?

One of my PCMCIA slots has a wireless network adapter, the other slot I leave empty and not worry about it. Either the wireless adapter is hot, either it generates that heat or it's from the proximity to the processor, so in my mind the adjacent open slot gives it a little bit of air.
