Back when I started collecting DVDs in the late 90's I was at DVD Planet in the O.C. with an arm full of LDs, and there on a small TV they were showing MARS ATTACKS and comparing it with the LD. I remember turning to the guy next to me and saying, "It's only a few clicks up in clarity, it ain't going anywhere."

I remember buying many DVDs, but back then so many were non-anamorphic, that I remember selling a box full of them.

So, when I saw they were releasing DEEP STAR SIX on BD, I looked to see if I had a copy in DVD...I didn't. So, it looks like I'll have to wait for it to come down in price before I add it to my sci-fi/horror collection.
