okay so far this semster isn't going like i hoped, when i first got here, i noticed the stand on my Apple 17" CRT got a pretty good crack on it. big deal, i go to the local IT repair and its gonna be 64 bucks to replace it, i am a sucker for having my stuff all nice, so i cough up the cash and thats fixed.

Now today i was rocking The Wall with my Sub going, and my Newton M80s (you might remember me mentioning them) anyway i was just about to head to english class when all of a sudden one of my M80s comes crashing down on top of my roomies desk and lands on the floor taking out a shot glass and the lava lamp bulb. but those were the least of my worries. I compleatly messed up the enclosure on my M80, there a huge dent in the MDF on a corner and the Mahogany vaneer is chipped off, they are 28 pound speakers. Luckly its only cosmetic i checked the cross over and the drivers are all fine, but still damn it to hell, i just got these 400 dollar speakers last september.

Now since i am annal about my stuff i am going to have it taken back to Mass. where they will put the hardware into a new case but i hope they don'y screw me with a huge bill. i am willing to spend up to a hundred bucks.

BTW as of right now i am taking them off the shelf, i had them angled, but i guess it was a little to much damn it all to hell.
here are some pics

rant over

Geez, that seriously sucks, sorry to hear about that. Did you test the speaker to make sure it sounds fine other than just a visual inspection???
