Connecting Tempest via line level input (1 Viewer)

Hello,

Just a quick question regarding my newly completed DIY Tempest subwoofer. When I connect the LFE channel to the Adire AVA250 amp on the Tempest....do I need to use a Y connector...or just connect to one of the 2 channels?

the bass coming out of your LFE is mono ( all channels combined), so it doesn't matter.

I tried it both ways shortly after I completed mine. Actually I was hoping that the Y connector would allow the auto on to work better. Neither the sound or the effectiveness of the auto on changed between using and not using a Y adapter.

I just run mine without the Y adapter and leave it on all the time.
