Harvard-educated lawyer, stand-up comedian, champion roaster and 'Last Comic Standing' judge Greg Giraldo passed away today at the age of 44 after accidentally overdosing on prescribed medication.

He was always the funniest guy on the Comedy Central Roasts by far and I usually only watched those roasts just to hear him destroy the guest of honor. Very sad news.

That's a shame. I'm not as knowledgable of stand up comics as I used to be but Giraldo was always very funny when I'd see his stuff.
