Comcast: coaxial or fiber optic for HDTV? (1 Viewer)

I currently have Comcast digital cable and will soon be
getting (or buying) Comcast's set-top box in order to receive HDTV (a couple of channels worth anyway).
Will they use fiber optic cable instead of the coaxial
cable that's coming into my home now? Just curious--Dale

nope still uses Coax for the setop box, how a cable system works is there is a fiber typically an OC-48 or sometimes larger that runs to a "node" in the neighborhood where the signal is then converted to the Coax cable that brings that signal to your house. You wont see fiber to the curb for many years to come.
