OK, so I have determined that it is not a coincidence.

But everytime I visit a particular forum, and look over a thread or two, my connection is lost. I have to turn off my modem and router and turn them back on to get online and access my internal network. But once I go to the forum again and visit a few threads, boom, gone!

It is very weird and I have never had the problem before. It does not only kill my connection on this PC but all my PC's connected to the network and I cannot access other PC' locally - Stating that limited or no connectivity because an address has not been assigned.

It's like it is killing my routers settings. I have no adware or viruses on any of my PC's. Just checkd them all again.

Any Ideas?

does it make you accidentally post to the wrong forum? :)

in short, a website cannot do that. how have you determined it isn't a coincidence?
