The Mirage speakers I'm getting are bi-wire capable. Er... what's up with that? Do I have to run two sets of cables to all the speakers? It should work just fine with one set, right?

One set is fine, just make sure the jumpers are in place. Bi-wireing is not necessary it's simply an option. In fact it gets debated quite a bit as to weather its worth doing or not. I myself can tell you that I have my mains & center Bi-wired & didn't notice any difference compared to just using the jumpers.
But if you feel the need to experiment & have the extra wire give it a try & see what you think.
