basic rear channel amp search (1 Viewer)

Pioneer 2011 Alan Jones 5.1 speakers
I am searching for a cheap stereo ( no mono option needed ) amplifier that will be the job done well. The amp will be used with the 1402 pre-amp out.
AudioSource AMP-100 was on my mind after reading that any amp will do for my purpose.
Help?

Help, as in what?
How loud do you want these AJ to play? How much do you want to spend? Do you want the amp itself to have any gain control?

I am not into room shaking surround sound. I might add a pair of speakers creating 5.1 to 7.1 The AudioSource AMP 100 is $90-. shipped free. seemed ideal. The right thing seems to ask more experienced Home Audio Enthusiasts.

Now that we know what you are trying to accomplish...
You want an amp to "match" the power you got going to the other 5...when you create 7.1...
Then, at that price, there isn't much else to consider when it is already under $100 and the amount of power fits right in.
