Last month, Bowers & Wilkins announced the 600 Series Anniversary Edition, the seventh generation of the product line, and with new components which “continue to set the standard for high-performance sound quality at an accessible price point.” The new range includes the Anniversary Edition Theatre, a 5.1 speaker package featuring 2 x 603 S2, 2 x 607 S2, the HTM6 S2 center channel and ASW610 active subwoofer, all with a package price of $4,299.99.
The 600 series has been in production for 25 years, the second longest continuously available series after the 800 Series Diamond, and all key components are manufactured in-house. As well as incorporating improved components over the earlier 2018 line, the models are available in an oak or special order cherry finish, adding to the existing matte black or white colors.
