Focal launches 1000 Series installation speakers (1 Viewer)

Focal has introduced a new France-made 1000 Series speaker line, comprising in-wall, in-ceiling and subwoofer models, all primed for immersive home cinema applications with multiple configuration options. According to the company, it is responding to a rising trend of customers seeking commercial-type AV products in the climate of movies-to-home releases. The products are the result of three years of R&D, form part of the CEDIA designer ecosystem and two of the speakers bear the company’s exclusive ‘Utopia’ name.
The Utopia models are represented by the 1000 IWLCR and 1000 IWSUB, both designed to deliver the “ultimate quality” and Focal’s signature sound. The in-wall models are protected by front grilles and the IWLCR ($7,499 each) is a 3-way closed back speaker with Beryllium tweeters and ‘W’ cones, which can be bi-amplified.
