AudioControl Joins The Cinema Designer Database
AudioControl of Seattle, makers of high-performance audio solutions for residential, commercial and automotive markets has joined The Cinema Designer (TCD) manufacturer database. This will enable authorized AudioControl installers, designers and dealers anywhere around the world to use the TCD tool in support of their home theater designs. The Cinema Designer software helps integrators efficiently design standards-based home theaters and media rooms using the company's array of processors and amplifiers.
TCD is an award-winning cloud-based tool (CEDIA Awards 2017, Best New Software) for dealers that helps them design dedicated cinema or media rooms 'easily and efficiently', while it also allows users to create technically correct theater designs, support documents and 'aesthetic renders', which include 3D CAD drawings. TCD is also available to users all over the world and provides relevant documentation for theater design, including audio and video calibration reports.
By entering design information into an interactive web tool, it will build a 3D CAD model of the room and specify the precise location of the loudspeakers, screen, seating etc. which a user has selected for a specified home theater project. There is no need to install any software or plugins either, as the use of any HTML5-capable browser like Chrome, Firefox or IE11 will suffice. Even after interactively choosing seating and carpet colors, and wall and ceiling types, a user can create rendered visuals which will suggest the look and feel of a proposed room.
The AudioControl products included in the TCD design tool are the Concert AVR-9 and AVR-7 receivers, the Maestro M9 and M5 processors, as well as the Pantages G3, Savoy G3 and Bijou amplifiers.
