I can watch them over and over again too. Just surprised that almost every action scene was in the trailer.
TBH, I watched the trailer a couple of times and I don't remember one key scene that Travis noted. Something tells me, most people won't remember it either.

Probably. But it's not a big deal anyway. Like you said. It didn't take away from my enjoyment of the film either. Just an observation.

Yeah, my son and I thought that scene alone made the movie...
David Leitch knows how to direct fight sequences. After his work in the John Wick films and then directing this one, I'm looking forward to Deadpool 2. Not to mention all of his stunt work in prior films, he has quite a resume.

I'm going to be seeing this tonight at an AVX theatre, then jump over and watch Dunkirk in 70mm IMAX. Figure if I'm going to make a ridiculously long trip to watch a movie, I might as well make it worth my while and watch two of them. Liable to be a rough drive home tomorrow , though.

This was good, but not great. I think part of what hurts this feeling was expectations for me; this movie was sold in some ways like a "John Wick" type film. It wasn't that; this was a great spy thriller. Keeping that in mind, and once I realized that is what I was in for, I really enjoyed it.

Good spy flick. It was like Salt on steroids. The trailers gave away the action scenes, but not really any details of the story. There was a lot twists and turns it.

There were only two parts that I didn't like. The first was the
the sex scene between her and the French agent.

That whole thing just felt shoe-horned in there because

well.....we have to have the obligatory homosexual theme that appears to be de riguer in H'wood films and TV shows now.

The second thing was Percival's

expository monologue near the end. It was too long.

Other than those nits, I thought it was a good and brutal updating of an old school spy story. Worth picking up on 4K when it comes out.
