Asian editions of DVD box sets (1 Viewer)

Searching on ebay for TV show box sets on DVD almost all are Asian editions which seem to have everything except the special features. Are these legit?

If they're 'Region 0' ( or 'all code' ) with Chinese subtitles then probably not.
If they're listed as 'region 2' then they're Japanese and probably genuine.

"Asian Edition" of TV boxes on Ebay are 99% boots. Very few Japanese versions make it there. Yahoo Auctions seems to be far more popular in Japan.
