Thanks for the info. I should go buy it. What part of the refrence seris did they do?

---------

I looked at your site, awsome system. How do the Kenwood subs do for you? Klipsch RB5's are some of the BEST speakers!

What did they say about it? +ve or -ve?

Was it the RF-3 II package?

I'm considering this package vs an Axiom M60 package as we speak to pair with my SVS setup ...

did TN measure a rsw series sub?

How did it do 25-63hz and at 20/25hz?

Thanks()My issues seem to be delivered a week later than most.

Yeah TV - I just gote one in the mail a few weeks ago - and it doesn't have the Klipsch review in it. I am not even done reading that one and a new one comes out? It seems that sometimes there are big delays between when I get my mags and when they come out.

I am interested to see how the Klipsch system does. I have the RB-5's as well - and I love them. So Joel, tell us - what was reviewed and what did they think?

I think it was the refrence 7. Still, a good reflection of all Klipsch refrence series speakers.

Tom you're not alone, all my other mags come before they are in the store. Yet S&V is always late.
Do you ever go home? Or do you have a cot setup in the back of the shop?

Friend said the rsw15 hit 112.5dB 25-63hz.
All hail the new king...:)
Just goes to show you what can happen when a hard core bass freak does the R/D on the sub for the machine...Congrats to Deon...very few harder working men in the business.

How much does the rsw15 run? I guess it's a victory if it goes for about $1000. If it's $2000+ then who cares :)

I think it retails for $1800, being so new...and back ordered from what I hear...it might be tough getting much of a discount from the local dealer.
Still a nice unit though...and high time Klipsch has a representative woof to go with their ultra-dynamic speakers.
A new 25-31PCi might be close...and you can see how the Ultra compares directly to the rsw15 at the Link Removed showdown...

In the secrets test:

RSW15 does 93db @20hz

dual SVS ultras 110db@20hz

So the 25-65hz might be 112db but how much of that is in the really important 20-30hz range? Sounds more like the typical 30-50hz boomers to me.

Well the Secrets' review paints a totally differen picture. 112db average from 25-65 is just that, an average. We need more info.

The TN review will have more info...but I probably won't get my issue for a while yet...does anyone have it?(TN usually gives a 16/20/25hz max figure too....depending on the extension of the unit).
