Title pretty much sums it up. Whenever I turn on my Art 351, which I only use on my sub channel, it causes a loud popping noise in the subs.

I suppose the only way I could stop this would be to turn off the auto on feature of my SVS16-46 and SVS16-46+ subs? Otherwise, leave the 351EQ on all the time?

Any suggestions?

You need to set it up so that the eq powers up before the sub amp, otherwise leave it on all the time as you said.

Harry's right! Turn on the sub last and shut it off first. Or leave the EQ on all the time (which is what I do with my Rane PE-17.)

I never turn my ART off. But then, I never turn my Samson 1000 off either, which I'm sure will come back to haunt me one day. :D
