I have a Motorola DCT 5100 cable box with DVI-D connection and a Pioneer SD-643HD5 rear projection TV with RGB type connector. Both units also have the basic component, s-video and composite. I want to have the best picture possible so I am trying to utilize the DVI-D from the box to the RGB on the TV. Will this work? Both connector styles are different. Is there a cable that will connect these two? See my attachment -->

I guess if there is not, my only other option is component video, right?

THanks for the help.

No Derek, DVI-D is a digital signal sending system and RGB is anolog. The two are not compatible. Component is your best bet.
