Hit a few of the sites that let you listen to soundbytes. My fiancee is a big fan. She doesn't like the pop album at all. Very different stuff. Jewel's normal stuff is more chick-with-guitar singing (think Michelle Branch I guess?) rather than the pop-rythm stuff. Her new album was an experiment and a step in a different direction. Thanks for the link. I was wondering what the hell was the deal with the new song (which I saw the video for). Nice to know it is an experiment rather than a total change of direction. It annoys me slightly becuase the music sounds just like everyone else, but if she's having fun, then I guess it is ok...

Then again, she looks pretty damn hot int that video.
