Any good free wave editors out there?

    Looking for free Wave Editior recommendations, can someone point me int the direction of something like Goldwave, but without the $40 pricetag? TIA!

    Haven't heard of any personally. The demos I've had look like complex software so I doubt anyone will give them away without some cash changing hands.

    Cool Edit has a 30-day free trial. I liked it so much I bought the "lite" version, and am now considering the "pro" version.

    Perhaps you could find an, ahem, older version of GoldWave, and somehow acquire the serial number for it *cough* eDonkey *cough*. Not hacking the current version might be more to your taste in morality.
