As another long time Alison Krauss fan, I can second (or third) the votes to check out Nickel Creek. However, definitely get their eponymous first CD. The second is a big disappointment to me. BTW, if you like the instrumentals Alison and her group do, you should also check out Bela Fleck's Tales of the Acoustic Planet II - The Bluegrass sessions, on DVD-A, also featuring the legendary Jerry Douglas.
