Just read here that 20th Century Fox is putting out a Garfield movie. This rocks because A.Garfield as a comic strip is great B.Fox is a great studio to put out Garfield and I'm sure it'll be a great SE DVD C. Garfield will be totally CGI (Odie probably too) and D. It's being written by the excellent writers of Toy Story. But how are they going replace Mr.Music? His voice is unforgettable. Have any of ya'll heard anything more? I'm really looking forward to this one being a longtime Garfield fan.

WHICH writers of Toy Story? I haven't heard anything about Joss Whedon's involvement.
I will still hold to NO LORENZO MUSIC= NO MOVIE! [IMG]

I believe it's Joel Cohen and Alec Sokolow.

I was excited about this at first, but I'm now extremely skeptical as to how true this all is... after all, the official Garfield website STILL makes no mention of it...

Well, here's an idea for casting:

John: Bill Pullman or Rick Moranis

    Garfield's voice: Bill Murray
