I hadn't seen this before I caught it recently on the Starz western channel. I plan on getting the blu-ray soon! Very underrated western!

Agree. I did a blind buy on the blu ray and was surprised by how good this was. I'm due to watch it again.

Before I rewatched it I was a bit anxious regarding my memories of it - must have been more than two decades since the last time I watched it. To my relief I still liked it a lot, it was just very different this time as I watched it in projection and the last viewing was on a smaller screen where I did not notice much of the stunning cinematography.

It’s on my 100 favorite westerns list. I just watched it again last month with the audio commentary by William Wellman’s son.

There is going to be a Kino sale in June according to Kino Insider. It may be a good time to purchase it then since this is a Fox title that was released on Blu-ray via Kino back in 2016.

Well, it was still at the $17.97 price, but I got it anyway (along with eight others).

Yeah, I was disappointed in this latest Kino sale as I will pass on buying anything. Anyhow, Kino is getting enough of my money already as I have five "Mae West" Blu-rays arriving today with plenty of more titles coming next month.
