I seldom call a film a total waste of time, as there always seems to be something positive to find and discuss.
47 Meters Down, directed by Johannes Roberts, is a simple tale of two really innocent (or possibly just stupid) girls, on vacation in Mexico, who decide to spend time in a shark cage, on a rust bucket, run by a crew who like beer.
How could anything possibly go wrong.
The film "stars" Claire Holt and Mandy Moore, both of whom are talented, but neither of whom seem to be able to speak the dialogue provided them in a believable way. If this was their only acting attachment, they'd probably never work again.
Matthew Modine plays the captain, and probably worked for a day on the project, possibly to help with foreign sales.
As a Blu-ray, I found it to be unique in that I've never seen another with as much banding, nor what appears to be posterization of underwater blues.
Both anomalies may have come from up-rezzing to 4k, but I've not seen this before.
