Like I am sure most of us do... I like to watch Christmas movies, shorts, TV Eps., etc. the whole month of December. So I was wondering if there will be Something like this done in the community much like the Halloween thread we had. If not community wide I will do a thread like my current one for Classic Comedy Greats. But I must say I liked how many people were doing it for Halloween.

I'll be happy to post a few, but I don't know if I'll have time for a "marathon". :)

I know I'll be watching a few favorites like A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas in 3D, Krampus, A Christmas Horror Story, The Muppet Christmas Carol (and probably a couple other versions of CC; I think I have the 3D of the Jim Carrey version).

Guess I will be alone for a Christmas marathon.

This might get a little more traction in the BD/DVD forum than the Movies forum... it just seems to work that way.

I will definitely be trying to watch some Christmas movies but I'm finding it harder and harder to set aside the time to do a marathon. I'd love to try the annual HTF Halloween challenge, for instance, but for the past four or five years, I've been away from home for most of the month of October. December is another one of those crazy months for me where between work (potentially on one or more of the holiday days) and visiting family and whatnot, there is never enough time to actually sit down and watch everything I'd like to. And it seems no one in my family is as into Christmas movies as I am, so it unfortunately becomes the choice of "Do I participate in a family activity with everyone else?" or "Do I go sit in a room alone and watch this disc while everyone else is in the living room doing something else?" It's a little bit of a bummer. Maybe one day I'll have kids and they'll be on my side - one can only hope!

I will definitely watch It's A Wonderful Life. Last year, it was on my bedroom TV with headphones on as my wife slept and as my mother-in-law slept in what's normally my TV room.. but I got it in. Probably will happen the same way this year. I like to watch at least one version of A Christmas Carol each year, so I'll get that in too.

Beyond that, I can't make any promises, but I'll try to get in as much as I can!

I'll try to watch all the classic Christmas Specials and classic Christmas movies. Already watched several Hallmark Christmas movies. I also listen to Old Time Radio so I have a marathon of those as well. I have downloaded 500 Christmas OTR shows I need to attempt to get through!
