Here is my Home Theater that i have been building and improving and upgrading piece by piece over the last 12 years. It took a long time but it is well worth it if you really love this stuff.

Did you try teaching the remote, that is what i did and i have the rx v1400 and it worked, i even taught mine the touches for the light dimmer,it's IR so it worked.

I have the same shakers also and all i did was connect the shakers to an old receiver that i had liyng around, so what i did is run the old amp to my current receiver and i plugged my shakers in series and VOILA you get 8ohms, it's as simple as that. hope that helps

Just wondering because i'm looking into a : Preamplifier- Audiosource Pre One/A would this be any good for a yamaha rx-v1400 avr with pre-outs but no pre-ins that i can see,any inputs on this subject would be greatly appreciated. what kind of quality is audiosource by the way? thanks

ok i figured out how to make the equalizer work, but my next question is i'm gonna use it for my subs, does anyone know how to adjust the equalizer properly for the subs? thanks

i was wondering since i just ordered a pair of 25w shakers for my el-ran sofa and i have an old jvc 70w rms amplifier (not receiver)to drive them, should i connect to the aux input because i tested it with an old passive sub and there barely was anything coming out of it, i then tried the phono...
